Hostess nonintelligent multiport serial controller enables the connectionof up to eight asynchronous serial devices, such as terminals andprinters, to a single PC expansion slot. Upgrade modules allow growthfrom four to eight ports. The number of users can be increased beyondeight by adding up to four controllers to the system.Hostess controller features the largest selection of interfaces andconnectors on the market. Select from RS-232, RS-422, RS-485, and RS-232Current Loop interfaces with DB9, DB25, or RJ45 connectors. All Hostessinterfaces are designed either to stand alone or to mount on the back ofthe computer. Software device drivers and updates are available at nocharge. Hostess is backed by a 30-day trial, a five-year warranty, andlifetime support.
